Dr. Richard D. Marrotte

Dr. Richard Marrotte received his degree in Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts in 1985. He has been in private practice in the Boca Raton area for nearly 21 years. He also maintains licenses in Massachusetts and California.

Dr. Marrotte's practice specialties include LASER Vision Consultation, CRT Non-surgical Refractive Therapy alternative to LASIK, Neuro-Optometric rehabilitation of the brain injured patient, keratoconus, bifocal contact lenses and Low Vision.

A certified refractive surgery consultant, Dr. Marrotte has served on the Medcal Advisory Board of the TLC Laser Centers in Boca Raton, FL and Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He has consulted on over 1250 refractive surgery cases.

Dr. Marrotte was the first Certified Paragon CRT practitioner in Boca Raton and has been fitting various forms of Ortho-keratology lenses for over 17 years. "Contact lens based refractive therapy techniques can be fitted for any age, but my youngest success story is a 10 year old girl whose father was extremely nearsighted, as well."

Credentialed on the Consultative staff of Pinecrest Rehabilitative Hospital in Delray Beach, FL for the past 12 years, Dr. Marrotte treats patients that have suffered strokes or traumatic brain injuries.

Married for over 23 years, Dr. Marrotte and his wife have 2 children aged 15 and 19. They all enjoy skiing, golf, bowling and traveling.
